Laura Marinelli, LMT, is a nationally certified and Oregon licensed Massage Therapist with advanced training in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage TM. With a background in Nutritional and Constitutional Herbology, her approach to each individual is wholistic and rooted in her natural ability to truly listen. Laura offers a deeply relaxing, integrative therapeutic massage combining Deep Tissue, Swedish, Neuromuscular, Myofascial, and Reiki Energy Healing techniques (among others) tailored toward each client’s needs to relieve stress and other root-cause issues. She believes that the physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies must be treated as a cohesive whole. Her goal is to support each client in his/her path of healing and optimal health. Laura specializes in Maya Abdominal Massage for treatment of low back pain, abdominal issues, and pelvic pain. She works with women, men, and children to address hormonal, digestive/intestinal, and urinary difficulties. PMS, fertility concerns, common pregnancy discomforts, prostate problems, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Gastro Esophageal Reflux (GERD) are some of the issues addressed by this ancient massage.
With a passion for women’s health and wellness, Laura strives to empower women to connect to their center, helping them to discover balance and harmony in the cycles of their lives. A certified Birth Doula, she offers nurturing prenatal and labor support as well as prenatal and postpartum massage integrating specialized Maya healing techniques.
A mother who is grateful to be putting down roots in the Rogue Valley with her family, Laura enjoys watching her young daughter blossom into the world. She also enjoys dancing, gardening, cooking, traveling, and time outdoors exploring the gifts of the earth.
